Rainbow's End Development Center
Rainbow’s End Child Development Center was established to meet the need for quality and convenient full-time child care to the children of Southern Illinois University Carbondale students, alumni, faculty and staff, as well as, the Southern Illinois community. The primary goal of the Center is to provide a secure, educational, and positive atmosphere for children. The Center is committed to providing a program which embodies developmentally appropriate practices and principles outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Water Bottle Refill Stations
We’re excited to announce the installation of two new water bottle refill stations at Rainbow’s End, thanks to support from the SIU Green Fund! These stations make it easy for children, families, and staff to stay hydrated while reducing single-use plastic waste. Together, we’re promoting healthy habits, teaching kids about sustainability, and helping our community make a positive impact on the environment—one refill at a time. #Sustainability #Greenfundgrant
