Rainbow’s End Child Development Center is a unit of Student Affairs on the campus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. It is a comprehensive child development program licensed to serve 133 children, ages 6 weeks to 8 years, for University students, faculty, staff, and community members. The Center is staffed by qualified professionals, participates in the State of Illinois Child Care Food Program, and provides an intergenerational and multicultural program.
The staff at Rainbow’s End Child Development Center is committed to promoting the well-being of children and their families. We provide a secure and positive atmosphere for children during the most important years of growth, development and learning. We offer children at the Center the opportunity to participate in a program that balances intellectual, social and emotional growth.
